IOAI 2026 - Day 2
The second day of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence consisted of three tasks which, unlike those on the first day, were not an extension of the at-home round. The contest lasted 6 hours. Each participant had one virtual machine with an H100 GPU shared among seven people. Its speed was comparable to that of a T4 GPU, but the task time limits were slightly increased to faithfully reflect the conditions at IOAI. Participants had access to the documentation for all available libraries. The available language model was Gemma 3 27B, but it was limited to just one message per conversation (it was not possible to continue a conversation after the model responded - instead, a new conversation had to be started) and to 1,000 tokens (about 2,000 characters) per conversation (including both the tokens in the question and those in the model's response).
